Excelsior – Rangehood 24v Interlock System

This controller provides a solution to the Australian Standard requirements when installing an Excelsior range hood above a commercial gas appliance in residential premises. The gas solenoid valve supplied must be installed in the gas supply piping to the gas appliance. Once installed and connected to the controller the solenoid valve will be energised, allowing gas to flow, only when the range hood exhaust fan is running. Typically this controller would be fitted when a gas barbecue approved for commercial use is installed in a residential alfresco area under an Excelsior range hood.

Additional Features

  • Operational Voltage: 220 to 240 VAC
  • Solenoid Voltage: 24 VAC
  • Max Solenoid Current: 9 VA
  • Max Rangehood Current: 6 amps Inductive
  • Fuse Type: 100mA M205
  • Solenoid 24VAC: 1/2” BSP female – Max inlet pressure 5kPa
